Proper Way of Taking Care of Antique China

During my birthday two years ago, I received one of the most beautiful gifts from my mother. She gave me a box of antique china that was really very elegant to look at. I use it all the time when I have to serve my guests at home. Once in a while, I try to use it when I have to celebrate a special occasion with my family.

Through these years that I have been using these I learned the proper way to take care of my fine china. The number one rule when taking care of fine china is to rinse it right after eating. Since these are already old, the coating or varnish of the plates may not be as effective anymore. The purpose of rinsing it immediately is to prevent the stains from forming on the plates. This also goes for the leftovers: rubbing it with a rubber spatula will prevent the food from sticking to it. Whenever you rinse your china, always have a towel in the sink to prevent it from breaking or chipping since these things are very delicate. When it comes to antique, it is best to know the proper way to take care of these things. You will never find a replacement for you antique fine china.
