When I was first approached about investing some money in a business of a friend of mine, I had my doubts. He eventually convinced me when he showed me his bank account, and spread sheets for the last few months. Wow! I was stunned. To buy laptop computers, and resale them seemed like a bad idea to me. How could you make any money? Well, I guess it’s where you buy them from, and how much you pay. He found a great connection for these notebooks, that again had me skeptical, but no more.

There’s a lot of work involved. You have to get the old units cleaned up and check them for problems. We usually do this by running some test with some special software our developers wrote. If there is any faulty hardware it has to be replaced before the unit can be sold. We want to keep a good name so we make sure everything that goes out the door is in top working condition.

When I first heard about the innovative business opportunities that the Internet could provide, I was nervous. I was, and still am pretty computer ignorant. Then a friend of mine showed me how easy it really can be. He took me to a site where the header read, used cell phones for sale. My first reaction was no thanks, then I looked into it, and to my amazement, it was not nearly as complicated as I thought it would be. So, here I am.

I opened a store and started helping customers. I found I was very good at this business. My customers are very happy and continue to refer their friends and family to me. I’m very glad I decided to get into the used cell phone business. I’ve never been happier.
